Pat Filzen

Pat Filzen has a background in museum studies and preservation, with a deep appreciation for the arts.  For the past fourteen years she has actively pursued textile arts, working primarily with wools in both two and three-dimensional forms.  Filzen was a founding member of Main Street Art Works, an art cooperative that survived as an active gallery and art studio for over 10 years.  She has exhibited in a number of communities within Wisconsin and has shared exhibition space in Japan with incredible artists, being very humbled by their appreciation of the textile arts.
