Sohee Kim was born in Daegu, Korea. She holds a Ph.D. in Art and a Master of Fine Arts in Printmaking from Tama University in Tokyo, Japan. She received a B.F.A from the Art College of Hong-ik University, Seoul, Korea. She has received numerous international awards, most recently at the 2015 International Print Triennial in Krakow.
