Virginia Rose is a multimedia artist who dances through the realms of music, theatre, performance art, photography, poetry, and letters to editors. \u00a0She is entranced by fashion and the thrill of the hunt. Currently, she is writing a book about her global thrift store shopping experiences, entitled \u201cOtra Vase.\u201d\u00a0 Her forte is the epiphany of the costumed body.<\/p>\n

Artist Statement:<\/strong><\/p>\n

There are these pieces in my life that fascinate me<\/p>\n

A dot, a line, an occasional shape<\/p>\n

Opening the birth passage for the creative spark<\/p>\n

The journey towards truth<\/p>\n

Like a wave<\/p>\n

Has swept me away many times<\/p>\n

And, knowing I cannot fail,<\/p>\n

I sally forth anew at each juncture<\/p>\n

Untried angle<\/p>\n

A lone vector in space<\/p>\n

There are these pieces in my life that fascinate me<\/p>\n

A stone, this fabric, this vase<\/p>\n
